Effects of Glycyrrhiza glabra Root extract On Some Physiological Parameters in albino male rats treatment with lead acetate

The present study used 20 albino rats that distributed randomly to five groups (each group contain 4 rats), the first was control administrated only normal diet and water, second with lead-acetate for four weeks, third six fourth weeks then, treated 1ml root extract 15 days, fifth days. ALT, AST, ALP, bilirubin creatinine levels were increased while albumin decreased showed high significant changes (P < 0.01) in compared group, but of all parameters back when Glycyrrhiza glabra extract. It concluded from this roots has amply good effect on liver kidneys enzymes.
